On Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th of October Moortec exhibited their in-chip embedded subsystem IP solutions for Process, Voltage & Temperature (PVT) monitoring, targeting advanced node CMOS technologies from 40nm down to 7nm at the ARM TechCon Expo 2017.

The annual event which is now in it’s 14th year took place at the Santa Clara Convention Centre and showcases  the latest advances in this world-class architecture – from silicon design to software development.

The Moortec team were on hand to explain how the in-chip monitoring subsystem IP supports increased device reliability and performance optimisation schemes such as AVS & DVFS and power management control systems.

Moortec also announced their collaboration with Sonics at the event. The two companies have teamed up to provide a Temperature-Compensated DVFS Capability for Soc and Mcu Designers.

The partnership couples Sonics’ ICE-P3™ with Moortec’s compelling Temperature Sensors to enable temperature-compensated, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) in chip designs intended for power-sensitive devices such as mobile/handheld and the Internet of Things (IoT). The partnership solution is available immediately.
